- Cook for five minutes until fragrant.
- Return the browned ribs to the pot.
- Add the non-alcoholic dry red wine alternative and non-alcoholic sherry alternative.
- Allow the liquids to reduce slightly.
- Pour in the beef broth.
- Cover the pot with a lid.
- Simmer for two hours.
- Add the chopped potatoes in the final 45 minutes of cooking.
- Season the stew to taste with salt and pepper before serving.
